The Adelaide Strikers and Brisbane Heat enjoy two things in common at the moment in the 7th edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) ,the first being the fact that both the outfits earned a victory in their last clash and the second that the margin of victory has the number 6 in common which is extremely unlikely in nature.

Adelaide Strikers
Alex Carey emerged as the match-winner for the Strikers smashing an aggressive 83 against the Sixers which certainly played a major role in their victory. Sadly, the rest of the batsmen especially fellow opener Jake Weatherald who has been in disappointing form so far in the season failed to register a convincing score.
Rashid has emerged as the pick of the tournament so far in the BBL with his sublime variations which have left the batsmen befuddled. Captain Travis Head will be hoping for another exciting performance by his bowlers.
Predicted XI: Alex Carey, Jake Weatherald, Travis Head, Colin Ingram, Jonathan Wells, Jake Lehmann, Michael Neser, Rashid Khan, Ben Laughlin, Billy Stanlake.
Brisbane Heat
The Brisbane Heat enjoyed a scintillating knock by big-hitting Australian batsman Chris Lynn who played a major role in the side’s victory in the last clash. Sadly, the Heat required a finishing quickfire cameo by Alex Ross in order to get the side over the line after a poor show by the batsmen including big names like Kiwi superstar Brendon McCullum who has been increasingly reckless with his gameplay in the BBL so far.
Shadab Khan who was a key contributor for the Heat has left to represent Pakistan against the Kiwis and Yasir Shah has been signed up as the replacement. Shah will be expected to deliver the goods with the ball along with fellow spinner Mitchell Swepson.
Predicted XI: Jimmy Peirson, Brendon McCullum, Chris Lynn, Joe Burns, Ben Cutting, Alex Ross, Yasir Shah, Josh Lalor, Mark Steketee, Brendan Doggett, Mitchell Swepson.
We believe that the Adelaide Strikers can record another win against the Sydney Thunder.
