The Board of Control for Cricket in India – BCCI has sent an acceptance letter to the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) for hosting the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). Emirates board had shown willingness to host the 2020 edition of IPL by writing an official letter to the Indian board. As all the cricket boards across the world are trying to bring the game back to life, the Indian board has also decided to go ahead with the much-awaited season of the Indian Premier League.
BCCI finalized on conducting IPL this year from September 19 to November 8 in UAE. A few days back, International Cricket Council (ICC) had decided to postpone the T20 World Cup 2020 which was supposed to begin from October 18, thereby providing a free window for the Indian league.
