Speculations over his form vanished after a splendid display against the old enemies Pakistan in India’s opening match of the campaign against Pakistan, which India won comfortably. Virat Kohli’s record in 50-over ICC tournaments has been good, but fans expect a lot more from him.

Nevertheless, he was good enough this tournament to make it to this elite group. Virat didn’t get enough time to spend in the crease as Dhawan and Rohit did the majority of the damage. Yet Kohli scored 258 runs this tournament at a jaw dropping average of 129, which included two half-centuries.
