10. Mustafizur Rahman – Sunrisers Hyderabad:
The young Bangladeshi pacer made a name for himself in the world cricket with the kind of performances he put in the IPL for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He continued his good show that he started during the ICC World T20 this year. Rahman was one of the top 10 leading wicket takers of the season at the end of the league stage and looked set for Purple Cap. He forged a handy bowling pair with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and choked opposition at crunch times. He was the most economical bowler by the end of the league stages, for any player with more than 10 matches, and had the economy of 6.71. In the 14 matches he played, he bagged 16 wickets with a best of 3/16. By the end of the season, he ended up as the 5th leading wicket taker of the tournament.
