Champions Trophy 2025 Points Table
The thrilling Champions Trophy 2025 will get underway on February 19, as Pakistan will take on New Zealand, at the National Stadium, in Karachi. This is going to be the ninth edition of the global tournament. Eight teams are going to participate in this event - Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Australia, England, Afghanistan, and South Africa.
Notably, Pakistan and UAE (United Arab Emirates) are going to host the CT 2025 matches. The eight teams have been divided into two groups. Group A comprises - India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. While Group B consists of Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan. This is the first time Afghanistan have qualified for this event. As per norms, two top teams from each group based on the Champions Trophy points table, will progress to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will be played on March 4 and March 5, respectively. Meanwhile, the summit clash is set to be held on March 9. Pakistan are the current holders of the Champions Trophy. They beat India in the finals of the previous edition in 2017.
