Well, there is good news for the fans of great firebrand West Indies batsman Chris Gayle, who has recovered from his hamstring injury. He suffered the injury during the tour of India in the month of November in the India-West Indies ODI series. Today he made his first competitive appearance after a gap of more than two months..

Gayle participated in the first of two warm-up matches for Jamaica in preparation for next week’s start of the West Indies cricket board (WICB)’s Super 50 tournament in Trinidad.

He returned from Australia last week where he underwent treatment and rehabilitation and was set to captain Jamaica against a Best of The Rest team at Sabina Park.

It is pertinent to add that Gayle is quite popular among the Indian cricket fans. In India, he has been  one of the most followed cricketers. He plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. Virat Kohli is among his best friends. He gained popularity owing to his free style gangnam dance. He is known to be a carefree kind of an open hearted person. We wish him good luck.
