From having one of the worst track records in Tests in India to playing one of the best knocks played on Indian soil by a foreign player, Ollie Pope surely came a long way in the last Test. He has never been able to solve the mystery of the Indian pitches but his way of sweeps and reverse sweeps surely did take him long this time around.

He smashed every bowler around, including Jasprit Bumrah but it was eventually Bumrah who made Pope miss out on his double century. His greatness with the ball and cleverness from the T20s made him excel in the last game and the same would be expected of him in this game as well.
