WPL 2024: Flop Indian players in the tournament
Ahead of the tournament, some Indian players were expected to play well, however, they fell through and made it to the list of non-performing Indian players of the 2024 WPL.
2. Pooja Vastrakar
Pooja Vastrakar failed to bolster MI’s fast-bowling unit again in 2024. Despite her ordinary performance in the 2023 WPL, Mumbai retained her for the second edition of the league but she lacked discipline with the ball again.
Playing nine games in the tournament, she scalped only five wickets at an economy of 7.30. In the inaugural contest against Delhi, she started her journey in the competition with an expensive spell. Bowling two overs, she gave away 18 runs and got no wickets. In the massive game against RCB, she couldn’t deliver any breakthroughs to the side.
