3 Delhi Capitals Bowlers to watch out for in IPL 2024

Delhi Capitals (earlier Daredevils) stumbled in the semi-finals in the first two IPL seasons, and in the playoffs in 2012 and 2019. They made it to the finale for the first time in 2020, where they lost to Mumbai Indians. They made it almost as far in 2021 too, topping the table in the league stage, but then lost both their playoffs to crash out.

Capitals have been underachievers in the IPL, though they started strongly. They also made the playoffs and finished third after topping the table at the end of the group stage in 2012, but finished last in 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2018. They would be looking for a turnaround this year and would be depending on these bowlers to do the magic with the ball this season for them.

1. Anrich Nortje

The addition of Nortje has given that extra sharpness to the bowling line-up of Delhi Capitals which probably it lacked. His tight line and length added to his raw brunt pace make him an extremely lethal bowler to face and that has been his success story as well.

He did not have too great of a season last year wherein he still managed to scalp 10 wickets playing 10 matches. He needs to maintain his fitness which has been a problem with him so far in his career and would be looking for some form as well. When in his swing, he becomes a very dangerous bowler and troubles the best batters in the world as well.
