Siddarth Kaul is another player who promised a lot but didn’t get enough chances to showcase his talent. Kaul has played 55 IPL matches since his debut in 2013 and picked 58 wickets with a best of 4/29. His best year was IPL 2018, when played all 17 games for Sunrisers Hyderabad and picked 21 wickets.

But in the IPL, Kaul has always been a backup bowler than anything else. To add to this, his lack of pace and diminishing ability to swing the ball and effectively deliver yorkers might hinder his chances in the IPL 2024 auction. It remains to be seen whether Royal Challengers Bangalore retains him or not.
