1. Middle-finger to the crowd, 2011
The dismal incident happened during the 2011 World Cup match between Bangladesh and West Indies in Mirpur. Batting first, the hosts were dismissed for a low score of 58, the Caribbean team chased down the score in under 13 overs.
After the conclusion of the fixture, Shakib put his hand at the back and made a middle-finger gesture towards the grand stand of the stadium. It certainly angered the fans, who were already fuming due to the humiliating loss.
On their way back to the hotel, the West Indies team bus was attacked by the local people. Two windows got cracked, but not shattered, which made sure none of the stones hurled made their way inside the bus.
