Rahmanullah Gurbaz has succeeded in putting up impressive shows for the Afghanistan team with batting and wicketkeeping. The right-handed batter kicked off his ODI career in 2021 against Ireland and since then, he has scored 1005 runs with five tons and two fifties.
Recently, he also became the fastest batter to score 1,000 runs for Afghanistan. The 21-year-old achieved this feat in 27 ODIs. The youngster has not only done a brilliant job as a batter but as a wicketkeeper as well. In his more than two and a half years of ODI career, he has also dismissed 21 batters with his keeping gloves.
Donning wicketkeeping gloves, he stays disciplined and displays a sheer level of alacrity. His fitness and alacrity help him hunt down batters easily behind the stumps.
