IND vs AUS Test series: 3 Changes India can make for 4th Test
Australia defeated India in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 by nine wickets.
India and Australia are giving their all in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 and courtesy of the same, fans have been kept at the edge of their seats. The Men in Blue started the four-match Test series in a stunning fashion, trumping the visitors in the first two games and retaining the iconic trophy. However, the Aussies bounced back in style and defeated India in the third game by nine wickets.
With the loss, India are in a precarious situation and will need to win the final game to secure a berth in the finals of the 2021-23 World Test Championship. A defeat in the next game will have their hopes pinned on Sri Lanka’s outings in the Test series against New Zealand.
Given the next match will be a crucial clash for Rohit Sharma & Co., they would need to bring their A-game into play. Also, they would need to field their Best XI in the high-voltage encounter against the Aussies. As India bid to conquer the Kangaroos in the final Test, let us look at the personnel changes they would need to make.
3 changes India need to do to win the final test against Australia
3. Ishan Kishan in for KS Bharat
Srikar Bharat has been a run-bank in the Indian domestic circuit. He has featured in 89 first-class matches and amassed 4764 runs at an average of 37.21. Also, he is lightning-quick behind the wickets and has been a force to be reckoned with because of his excellent glove work.
Bharat was picked ahead of Ishan Kishan in the ongoing edition Border-Gavaskar Trophy as far as the playing XI is concerned. He has been given a consistent run with the bat, but the Vishakhapatnam-born has not been able to impress with his outings. He has featured in three games and has only managed to score 57 runs at an average of 14.25.
Given Bharat has been struggling to get himself amongst the runs, the team management could replace him with Ishan for the coming match. The 24-year-old is known for playing a fearless brand of cricket and his inclusion will bolster the batting line-up.
