5. Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the four-time champions, suffered arguably their worst season in the last edition of the league. Out of 14 games, CSK were able to win only four matches due to poor displays from both batters and bowlers. This December, at the auction table, the franchise will look to reinforce their bowling unit by adding some proficient players and Taskin could be one of them.

His ability to both seam and swing the ball will help the team to pin down batters. CSK, in 2022, roped in Chris Jordan, but in the four matches during the season, he could bag only two wickets at an expensive economy of 10.52.

On the other hand, Ahmed has consistently delivered economical spells in the last few series. With the buzz of Jordan getting released before the auction, the 27-year-old bowler might be the best option for the franchise.
