2. Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc is among the best left-arm seamers going around in world cricket at the moment. The 32-year-old has made a name for himself in dismantling top-drawer batting line-ups with his fiery pace and has been a strike force for Australia across formats. Talking about T20Is, he has picked 73 wickets in 58 matches at an economy of 7.63.

Starc has displayed his bowling prowess in the IPL arena and bagged 34 wickets in 27 matches at an economy of 7.17. The speedster’s last appearance at the cash-rich league came in 2015 for Royal Challengers Bangalore and the veteran pacer has not featured in the marquee tournament since then.

The left-arm pacer gave his name for the 2018 player auction where Kolkata Knight Riders spent an eye-popping sum of INR 9.4 CR to grab him.

However, ahead of the season, Starc was ruled out of the competition due to a right leg injury. There were speculations of the ace seamer taking part at the 2023 player auction but his IPL return has been delayed further as the Australian seamer is unlikely to feature at the upcoming edition.
