IPL 2023: Team-wise one player who could be traded in the trading window
With the IPL trading window known to be highly significant in the past, the forthcoming window can be a wonderful opportunity for teams to trade players that they don't require with valuable assets.
2. Manish Pandey (Lucknow Super Giants)
Even though Gautam Gambhir, the team mentor of Lucknow Super Giants is a big admirer of Manish Pandey, the Bangalore-based cricketer is unlikely to continue for Lucknow Super Giants in the forthcoming season. Again, it has a lot to do with his form as Manish scored just 88 runs in the six matches that he played and the last edition turned out to be his worst in 14 years.
With Deepak Hooda being in exceptional form, the franchise is unlikely to invest further in the 33-year-old. Hooda can bat anywhere in the middle order and scored 451 runs in the 15 matches that he played in the last season. Based on his impactful knocks, Hooda was also called up to the Indian squad and will feature in the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.
Trading Manish Pandey will save a lot of money for the Lucknow-based franchise. They bought him for 4.8 crores in the auction and with that being saved, they can look for players who can add more value to the squad.
