2. Play Shahbaz Ahmed in place of Digvesh Rathi

While Digvesh Rathi has picked up five wickets in three games, adding all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed to the lineup will provide more depth in the batting department. This will allow the middle-order batters to express themselves more freely.

Shahbaz is a capable finisher down the order. He has won games for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the past. He is also a decent bowler who can perform well if given an opportunity. He played the first game, but Pant used him at the back end of the innings, which is always tough for finger spinners. The Bengal all-rounder could be a handful at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, which is known for assisting slower bowlers.
