IPL 2025: 3 Worst fielding teams so far this season
The fans have witnessed some great and poor efforts on the field in the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
2. Rajasthan Royals - 63.89% (Catch efficiency)
Franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) have some young and inexperienced players, and it was evident in the last game that their fielding has been below par. The match saw the Royals drop four crucial catches and put in generally poor efforts in the field. The likes of Riyan Parag, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shimron Hetmyer are known for taking acrobatic catches, which made their lacklustre performance surprising to fans and experts alike.
The boys in purple have a catch efficiency of only 63.89%, which has also affected their season so far. Their position on the points table isn’t promising either — having won only two games and lost four out of their six matches. They are currently placed eighth on the table.
