IPL 2025: Performances of 5 ex-Mumbai Indians players so far
Some of the former MI players and their performances in IPL 2025, representing different teams this season.
2. Nehal Wadhera (now Punjab Kings)
Nehal Wadhera was scouted by MI and represented the franchise in the preceding two seasons, where he had shown his ability to hit the ball long and hard. He was not retained ahead of the mega auctions, which is when Punjab Kings snatched the local boy, and he seems to be playing some significant knocks for the franchise that currently is among the top-ranked sides on the table.
Though Nehal is yet to play a big innings, his crucial contributions in the middle-order have helped Punjab's cause more often than not thus far. The 24-year-old southpaw has scored 189 runs in the seven games he has played and is averaging 37.80 and has a strike rate of 146.51 in the ongoing season.
