The 10 teams are set to start their journey in IPL 2025 from March 22 and all the teams are filled with some of the biggest stars in international cricket. The ten teams also have their fair share of match winners who have proven to win games out of any situation in the shortest format of the game. It is time to discuss who these big match winners could be from all the teams who will be featuring in this tournament. 

Some of the players in this list are the players who are known to change the game either with bat or ball and will be the players to watch out for. There are clutch players needed to win games in one of the biggest franchise leagues in the world and these are the players that can make the difference in the game with their ability to get teams out of almost impossible circumstances. 


Here are the biggest match winners from each of the ten teams within the squads of IPL 2025: 

10. Punjab Kings: Yuzvendra Chahal

The star leg-spinner is currently the highest wicket-taker in the IPL and the only bowler to break the 200-wicket barrier as well. Yuzvendra Chahal is known to take wickets in the middle overs and put pressure on the opposing teams. One of his best performances came in the 2022 season against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) where he not only took a hat trick but ended up with his best figures of 5/40 in a thrilling high-scoring chase. There will be high expectations from Chahal who will be playing for the Punjab franchise this season.


9. Delhi Capitals: Axar Patel

There are plenty of big names in the Delhi Capitals team who can win matches for the team but the most important player in the team will be their new skipper Axar Patel. The 31-year-old spin-bowling all-rounder is a three-dimensional player who could contribute in all three departments of the game whether it is batting, bowling, and fielding. Axar can give the team economical and crucial spells with the ball with his left-arm spinners and can also score some runs with the bat when needed. Axar has also proved his worth in the 2024 T20 World Cup and 2025 Champions Trophy and he could make vital contributions to the team.
