4. Rohit Sharma (6070 Runs in 233 innings)

Rohit Sharma the batter has been facing heat recently for his below-par performances in the IPL for the last couple of years, however, the batter has been a pillar in the MI team set up and has played the role of an opener with great effect. The MI captain, throughout the years in IPL, has been among the batters who scored a good chunk of the runs for their respective teams and was able to play knocks that amazed fans and cricket pundits equally.

The 35-year-old batter has had a mediocre couple of seasons but still makes it to the list of players with most runs in IPL. Rohit can be seen as someone who has two to three years of IPL cricket left in him and with the amount of talent and temperament he oozes, it is a matter of time the tables turn for him and he again starts to dominate the opposition bowling line up.

The seasoned batter has had an outstanding record in IPL with 6070 runs in 238 IPL matches and will be able to better his record in the coming years. It has been witnessed how devastating he can be when he is on song and if the batter plays the next couple of IPLs and gets back into his absolute best, the top spot of leading run-scorers will be acquired by none other than Rohit Sharma.
