KL Rahul, who led PBKS in 2020, ended up as the Orange Cap winner for racking up 670 runs in 14 matches at a notable average of 55.83. In the sixth game of the competition, Punjab and Bangalore squared off with each other at the Dubai International Stadium and the former got a one-sided victory due to Rahul’s second IPL ton.

Bowling first after winning the toss, the Virat Kohli-led side made a massive error as the Punjab skipper hammered bowlers without showing any signs of leniency. In favourable batting conditions, Rahul smashed an unbeaten 132, which took PBKS to 206 at the end of the innings. The massive target shattered the chasing team's confidence, as the Bengaluru-based team were capitulated on 109 against a strong Punjab bowling unit.
