4. Jason Roy (England)

England's star opener Jason Roy was dropped from the team's squad for the T20 World Cup on the back of a consitent poor run that has been plaguing the 32-year-old for quite sometime now.

In 2022, Roy has scored 206 runs in 11 matches at an underwhelming strike rate of 104.04 thus far. He was not able to score runs in the ODI format as well and was not picked for England's ongoing tour of Pakistan to play seven T20I matches.

Despite not being able to perform with the bat, former England stalwart Kevin Pietersen believes that Roy's T20I career is not over and he can still make a comeback to the England side. Roy can be very dangerous with the bat in T20Is and has played numerous match-winning knocks for his England previously.
