1. Shafali Verma (India)

Shafali Verma will lead India in the Under-19 World Cup to be played in South Africa. The 18-year-old will provide power to India with her batting skills. Along with Richa Ghosh, Verma will be pivotal to providing balance to the Indian team in the World Cup. Both players will bolster the team’s chances in the tournament with their exceptional batting talent.

In 2019, Shafali debuted in international cricket at the age of 15, playing against South Africa in a WT20I match. Since then, the fearless opening batter has accumulated 1,231 runs in 51 WT20Is at a strike rate of 134.53.

In the recently concluded Australia Women's tour of India, she showcased her batting potential again racking up 140 runs in five matches at a sensational strike rate of 134.61. As the skipper, she will also strive to lead the team from the front and deliver stunning batting displays to lift the trophy.
