India locked horns with Australia in the 2016 T20 World Cup in Mohali in what was a virtual quarter-final. The Aussies batted first and posted a fighting total of 160 runs in 20 overs with Aaron Finch (43 runs off 34 balls) top-scoring for them. India, in response, were in a precarious position after losing their third wicket in the eighth over with just 49 runs on the board.
