David Miller is the most experienced player in South Africa’s World Cup 2023 team. Considering his immense experience, the Protea team will want extraordinary numbers from him. Batting in the middle order, his numbers are scintillating. At number five, he has accumulated 1389 runs in 41 matches at a strike rate of 102.58.

While in the number six spot, he has hit 2415 runs in 81 games at a mind-boggling strike rate of 105.27. These numbers make him an ideal match-finisher for South Africa. The southpaw possesses the potential to instil fear in bowlers in crunch situations with his power-hitting ability.

South Africa are still waiting for the World Cup title after appearing in every World Cup edition since 1992. This time, the Proteas will look to achieve success under Temba Bavuma in the competition, and for that, they will need Miller’s contribution from the bat.
