Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) invested INR 40 lakh in Megan Schutt and acquired her at the 2023 WPL auction. Along with Renuka Singh and her national teammate Ellyse Perry, Schutt was counted to strengthen RCB’s pace attack. The speedster played RCB’s opening match against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Brabourne Stadium and delivered a spell of 4-0-45-0 which didn't go well with her stature.

Despite her disastrous bowling figures in the first game, the team management backed her in the subsequent matches as well. However, her team’s support didn’t boost her confidence as throughout the tournament, she failed to deliver an impactful performance with the ball. She hardly seemed to be hitting the correct lines and lengths which didn't seem to improve anytime during the tournament.

The 30-year-old also looked unsettled in her squad’s must-win contest against Gujarat Giants at the Brabourne Stadium. Schutt’s abysmal bowling gave GG batters the opportunity to plunder runs and put up a colossal score of 188/4 on the board. She ended her spell with figures of 4-0-53-0, thus becoming the most expensive bowler for her team.
