Women's Premier League 2023: Owners of all 5 WPL teams
Mumbai Indians women will be taking on Gujarat Giants in the first match of the 2023 WPL.
4. Delhi Capitals (DEL-W) - JSW & GMR Group
In 2019, JSW Steel entered into a partnership deal with GMR Group to become the co-owners of the franchise. Parth Jindal is the current chairman of the franchise and is quite active in supporting them as well.
The Delhi-based side will be led by Meg Lanning. The franchise was also quite tactical in its spending at the auction. They were able to bring in the likes of Shafali Verma, Radha Yadav, and Marizanne Kapp to further bolster their team.
In their first match, Delhi will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Smriti Mandhana. Jonathan Batty will be the head coach of the side.
