'He did a lot of hard work, I feel very bad' - Aditi Dravid as uncle Rahul Dravid's tenure as India head coach ends

Marathi TV actress, Aditi Dravid, renowned for her contributions to the television and film industry, recently shared her sentiments regarding the conclusion of her uncle Rahul Dravid's tenure as the head coach of the Indian cricket team. Dravid's tenure ended with India's defeat to Australia in the World Cup final, played on November 19 at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

"Rahul Dravid is my uncle. My uncle has been working in the field of cricket for the past 30-35 years. He himself is a Ranji Trophy player. Rahul Dravid and I have a relationship because of cricket. I became very emotional. I feel very bad for Rahul Dravid today. His term as head coach is also coming to an end. This World Cup was his last. He is very hardworking and has done a lot of hard work. I think Rahul Dravid is the best coach," she said as quoted by Times of India.

Following India's devastating loss to Australia in the World Cup final, Aditi acknowledged the emotional impact on the players, with many shedding tears after the match. "After India's defeat, all the players were in tears. Cricket lovers did not see that picture. But now the World Cup is coming after four years. The team then may be completely different,” she added.

Aditi praised uncle Dravid's work ethic and dedication, describing him as a highly hardworking coach. She expressed empathy for him as his term as head coach came to an end, marking the conclusion of an era in Indian cricket. Aditi unequivocally stated that she believes Rahul to be the best coach. Looking ahead, she acknowledged that the composition of the cricket team may change significantly by the next World Cup, which happens every four years.

In terms of her professional career, Aditi recently left the show "Sundara Mana Madhye Bharli" to pursue a new business venture.
