All three ODI matches will be played at Mirpur's Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
India will be visiting Bangladesh for three One Day Internationals and two Tests between December 4 to 26. They would be pumped up with the return of their key players including the likes of skipper Rohit Sharma, batting megastar Virat Kohli, etc. who were rested for the away white-ball series against New Zealand following the T20 World Cup 2022.
The focus will be on the ODI series which serves as a preparation for both sides for the next year’s 50-over World Cup in India. The Indian team would be hoping to make the necessary inclusions in their playing XI for the One Dayers and at the same time would also look forward to ticking all the boxes with a variety of experiments in the white-ball leg of the series.
The One Day series will see senior pacer Mohammed Shami return to action after being given a break from the New Zealand series. Meanwhile, emerging pace sensation Kuldeep Sen has been given a chance to prove his mettle in the upcoming ODI series. However, it now remains to be seen whether he would be included in the playing XI.
Notably, Kerala wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson has been excluded from the Indian side for the Bangladesh ODIs as the selectors and the team management have decided to include two stumpers in the form of Rishabh Pant and Ishan Kishan.
