India head coach Rahul Dravid has reacted to the infamous Crown Perth incident featuring Virat Kohli saying that it is not a nice experience when a player's hotel room privacy is breached. Kohli called out the Perth-based hotel on Monday, October 31 on social media for a breach of privacy that saw some of his personal belongings clicked and posted.

The leaked video of the batting megastar's personal belongings contained things like his opened suitcase, health supplements, and, shoe collections. Kohli's complaint went viral in no time and the hotel received severe criticisms from the people including Australian opener David Warner, and, Virat's better half Anushka Sharma.

Virat Kohli is absolutely fine: Rahul Dravid

"It was disappointing, it's not very comfortable for anyone, let alone Virat. We have flagged it with the relevant authorities, and they have taken action. Hopefully, incidents like this won't happen in the future and hopefully, people are a lot more careful. That's (hotel room) the one place you feel you are away from the prying eyes and without the media glare, without the photographers and all of these that the players have to deal with. When that's taken away, it's not really a nice feeling," Dravid said in the pre-match press conference ahead of India's T20 World Cup Super 12 encounter against Bangladesh.

"He has dealt with it very well. He's here to train. He's absolutely fine," he added. Meanwhile, it was reported that the Indian team complained only to Crown Perth and did not escalate the matter to Cricket Australia (CA) or the International Cricket Council (ICC). The reports further added that the hotel has terminated the services of the employees responsible for this act with immediate effect.

After a five-wicket defeat in the last game against South Africa, the Men in Blue would be eager to get back to winning ways when they face a struggling Bangladesh in the next match at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday, November 2.
