A hilarious yet epic message written on a placard by an Indian spectator enjoying the game from the stands at the VCA Stadium during the ongoing first Test between India and Australia in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy has left everyone in splits.

India and Australia are currently locking horns with each other in the opening Test of the all-important Test series, with Day 2 witnessing a very topsy-turvy roller-coaster ride for the sides, both with the bat and the ball.

“I love Virat Kohli more than my wife,” was the message that read on the placard which the spectator was seen waving from the stands. If the message wasn't epic and hilarious enough, what made the moment more interesting was that the wife (as per a tweet from journalist Adam Collins) of the particular male fan was standing right beside him, and equally cheering out loud for team India from the stands.

The incident caught on camera had everyone enjoying the interestingly hilarious moment and even the prominent Australian cricket journalist Collins couldn't help but post a picture of the couple in the stands with the placard displaying the message, on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

For the unversed, this is not the first time certain fans have been caught on camera displaying some eye-catching messages on placards to express their immense support for the Indian cricket team. Earlier in January 2023, a fan had expressed his happiness on Virat Kohli scoring his 74th century on his (fan's) wedding day, and the fan had gone viral by displaying a placard dedicated to the Indian batting maestro.
