Another Chennai Super Kings batter makes the list as the franchise decided to splash the cash on Daryl Mitchell during the Indian Premier League 2024 Auctions. The New Zealand batter’s exploits for his national team saw him earn a massive contract of INR 14 Crores. But the batter could not bring the same form for which he was bought into the tournament and struggled a bit initially. He played all fourteen games in the tournament and despite registering two fifties, it was an ordinary campaign for the price the franchise had to pay to purchase him.
