IPL 2024: Sourav Ganguly confirms Mitchell Marsh's unavailabilty for Mumbai clash
Marsh has played all four matches for the Capitals, but he hasn't been able to make much of an impact in any of them.
The Delhi Capitals (DC) have received some unfortunate news before their crucial match against the Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium on April 7. Mitchell Marsh, one of their star all-rounders, may not be able to play due to an injury picked up prior to the game. Director of cricket for Delhi Capitals, Sourav Ganguly, confirmed the development during the pre-match conference, as reported by Times of India. However, he did not reveal the type of injury Marsh sustained or how long it would take for him to recover.
Marsh has played all four matches for the Capitals in the current season IPL 2024. But he hasn't been able to make much of an impact in any of them. He has only scored 61 runs and taken one wicket. If Marsh is indeed unable to play, the Capitals may bring in Australian explosive batter Jake Fraser-McGurk to their playing XI. Fraser-McGurk was brought in as a replacement for star pacer Lungi Ngidi.
Ganguly confirms Kuldeep Yadav’s unavailability

He will undergo a fitness test during training and they will know about his availability for the MI versus DC match by evening.
