Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has joined hands with JioCinema as its Brand Ambassador after ending his term with Star Sports in a recent turn of events. The Mumbai Indians skipper was initially associated with Star Sports in the same capacity and was also part of its official IPL campaign which also had the likes of star cricketers Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer, and KL Rahul.

Sharma, who would now be seen endorsing JioCinema in the 16th edition of the IPL, has expressed his happiness about joining the digital streaming platform. The star batter added that he is very pleased to be associated with JioCinema who are doing remarkable work in bringing a shift to the digital platform.

The Mumbai Indians skipper is expected to work with JioCinema making its fan base worldwide while associating with their various engagement initiatives. It is to be noted that free streaming of IPL 2023 by JioCinema has helped the platform garner a massive 550 crore video weeks in the first two weeks, as reported by Viacom18.
