Virat Kohli leases out portion of Kishore Kumar's Bungalow in Juhu, likely to expand business
Virat Kohli is currently a part of the Indian squad for the Asia Cup 2022.
Former Indian captain Virat Kohli is planning to expand his business as he has leased out a part of Kishore Kumar’s bungalow in Juhu for the next five years. Late Actor and singer Kishore Kumar’s son Amit Kumar confirmed the news and a restaurant is expected to be opened in the area that has been leased out to Kohli.
"We have leased out the space to Virat for 5 years," Amit was quoted as saying by ETimes. It has to be noted that Kohli has three restaurants in three different cities so far, Delhi, Kolkata and Pune under the name of One8 Commune. Leena Chandavarkar’s son Sumeet met Kohli few months back and this is where the conversations over the lease property in Juhu had started according to the reports.
Start Date yet to be confirmed for the Juhu Restaurant
Interestingly, Kohli’s one8 Commune’s Instagram bio revealed that a new one is coming up in Juhu in Mumbai. The modern-day superstar had named his restaurants One8 after his jersey number that he wears in international cricket. While the dates aren’t confirmed, the new restaurant is expected to be launched anytime this month.
Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are two of the most popular celebrities in India and the power couple have had a great success story in different fields. They tied the knot in 2017, and since then, Kohli has been making big strides in business.
Coming to the 33-year old’s form, Kohli scored a marvellous unbeaten half century against Hong Kong in India's previous encounter and is currently, the highest run scorer in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. While there were a lot of doubts over his prolonged inconsistent form, he has certainly answered his critics in style.
With just one month left for the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, India will be hoping that Kohli can continue the same kind of form throughout the Asia Cup. The Men in Blue will next play on Sunday (Sep 4) in the Super four stages against the winner of the game between Hong Kong and Pakistan.
