CSK vs KKR, IPL 2024, Match 22: Stats Preview of Players' Records and Approaching Milestones

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match 22 of Indian Premier League 2024 at MA Chidambaram Stadium International Cricket Stadium, in Chennai on Monday, April 07, 2024. In the ongoing tournament, CSK won the first two matches but lost the next two matches they played. They started this tournament superbly but lost the momentum in the last two matches. Thus, the Super Kings would like to come back to their winning momentum. On the other hand, KKR have won all the three matches they played and started this tournament superbly. Thus, the Knight Riders would like to continue their winning momentum.

Speaking about the last game of the Super Kings, openers failed to give a good start but contributions from Shivam Dube 45(24) and Ravindra Jadeja 31(23) helped Super Kings to post a decent total of 165. But they didn't convert their good start to big innings and didn't get support from other batters as well. Speaking about the bowlers, Maheesh Theekshana (4-0-27-1) bowled excellently which helped CSK delay the victory for SRH and drag the game to 19th over. Apart from Maheesh Theekshana, all the bowlers were expensive. The Super Kings will hope to get back to winning ways by emulating the team performance from the first two matches.

Speaking about the last game of the Knight Riders, they scored 272/2 which is the second-highest team total in IPL. Sunil Narine played a blistering knock of 85(39) and also registered his highest T20 score in KKR's last match. The former West Indies player was very lethal with the bat as in earlier seasons. Angkrish Raghuvanshi 54(27) played magnificently in his debut match. Andre Russell 41(18) and Rinku Singh 26(8) played fantastically and finished the innings superbly. Speaking about the bowlers, Vaibhav Arora (4-0-27-30) who came as an Impact player and played an important role made an Impact which changed the game in his early spell itself. He got superb support from other bowlers as well Most of the bowlers bowled superbly.  The Knight Riders will hope all these continue their good form.
