Cricketing Trends on Social Media today
Here's how the cricketer spent their day on Twitter and Instagram.
The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The opening Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan got underway at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and the home team ended the first day as the front runners without a doubt. Azhar Ali and Co managed to bowl the Tigers out for 233 in 82.5 overs. Thereafter, bad light made sure that the Pakistan batsmen didn’t have to bat out the remaining overs on the day.
A number of the Tigers’ batters got into the 20s, 30s and 40s, but couldn’t convert their starts. Mohammad Mithun notched his second Test half-century off 137 balls after which he fell prey to the 16-year-old Naseem Shah. Shaheen Afridi was the star performer for Pakistan, picking up four wickets. Mohammad Abbas and Haris Sohail also picked up a couple of wickets each. Meanwhile, Ramiz Raja believes that for Bangladesh to become a good Test side, they have to score big.
Alex Hales was over the moon after getting to play for the Sydney Thunder in the 2019-20 edition of the Big Bash League (BBL). Brett Lee welcomed Sachin Tendulkar for the Bushfire Bash charity match at the Junction Oval in Melbourne. The match will take place on Sunday, February 9. Sohail Tanvir shared a picture with former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq. KL Rahul uploaded a picture with Mayank Agarwal where they can be seen having coffee.
