The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Sarfaraz Ahmed, the Pakistan skipper, posted an adorable picture along with son. He is set to be relieved of the Test captaincy. Prithvi Shaw was meted out with an eight-month suspension by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for violating doping regulations. The youngster last played international cricket back in October 2018 against the Windies. Thereafter, an ankle injury ruled him out of the series versus Australia.

Punjab cricketer Mandeep Singh had a gala time in Vatican City and was awestruck by the world’s largest church and the beautiful museums. Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir, who announced his retirement from Test cricket a couple of days ago, is back to work at Essex Cricket. He also has plans of settling in London since his wife is a British citizen. Fast bowler Hasan Ali is set to get married to Indian girl Shamia Arzoo, who hails from the Mewat district of Haryana, on August 20.

But Hasan mentioned that it’s not confirmed yet and he’ll make an announcement very soon. Wayne Parnell, who captained South Africa in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup, was happy after turning 30 years old. Harbhajan Singh wished legendary fast bowler James Anderson, who turned 37. Ian Bell was a satisfied man after getting to talk about the upcoming Ashes, which gets underway on August 1.

Brad Hogg also shared his opinion about the Test series. The opening game will be played at the Edgbaston in Birmingham. Subramiam Badrinath posted a picture where he was seen interviewing Indian spinner Ravi Ashwin in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL).
