The draft for the 2018 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was held on Sunday (November 12) in Lahore. All the six teams are now completed and their respective skippers and owners are quite content with the cricketers they have picked. However, Peshawar Zalmi skipper Darren Sammy is over the moon now, since he has got the champion, Dwayne Bravo in his side.

Both Sammy and Bravo were present at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday, where Sammy’s Rajshahi Kings took on Bravo’s Comilla Victorians in a Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) encounter. Sammy recorded a video, where he welcomed DJ Bravo and Tamim Iqbal, who also plays for Comilla Victorians in BPL, in his Zalmi squad.

“I just want to welcome champion DJ Bravo to the Zalmi family,” said the 33-year-old. DJ Bravo did what DJ Bravo always does, reply in style. “Champion is there now,” was Dwayne Bravo’s reply. He turned his attention towards Tamim and said, “So, our legend Tamim Iqbal is back with us again. We picked up boss team. We have the champion (DJ Bravo) here and nothing can go wrong now.” Bravo also said in unison “Nothing can go wrong now.” Bangladeshi opening batsman stayed away from the Windian extravagant hocus-pocus and simply said “Thanks Sammy.”

“Congrats to all the guys in the draft today, on making it on the Zalmi team. It is a pleasure to be on the team with DJ Bravo,” Sammy further added. The video was posted on Twitter by Peshawar Zalmi. Besides the aforementioned trio, Zalmi also boasts of some big foreign names like Marlon Samuels, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Eoin Morgan.
