David Warner shares video of daughter Ivy Mae throwing bat after missing the ball; trolls himself

Swashbuckling Australian opener David Warner made a great comeback to International cricket after completing his 12-month ball-tampering ban in Cape Town. The Aussie opener, who feared that he may never play cricket for his country after the furor that ensued post the ball-tampering scandal, gave an account of immaculate mental strength and unrelenting desire to make a comeback on the biggest stage, last year when he shellacked more than 600 runs for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL.

Warner continued his form in the succeeding World Cup in England and although he endured a nightmarish Ashes series where Stuart Broad was all over him, the southpaw made a brilliant comeback when he shellacked the Pakistan bowling attack to the tune of a triple-hundred at the Adelaide Oval. Warner’s off-field play is as immaculate as his on-field play. The southpaw constantly posts videos and pictures of him enjoying with his kids and family.

Warner shared another video on his Instagram account where his daughter Ivy May can be seen reacting angrily after she failed to make a connection to the ball with her bat. She slammed the bat to the ground and angrily walked off shouting ‘No Spinning’. Warner summed up his daughter’s reaction with a hilarious caption when he wrote, “It’s fair to say Ivy needs to listen and control her emotions. What would dad know.”

Ivy May’s love for cricket and for a certain Virat Kohli is well documented

Two months ago, Warner had shared another video of Ivy batting and claiming herself to be ‘Virat Kohli’ Warner, during a press conference, in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against Australia opened up on the incident.

“We were watching a replay on TV and Virat was playing. She came outside and started playing and said ‘I’m Virat Kohli’. I was like ‘what?’. ‘You watch me, you watch the other guys play and you watch one snippet of Virat and you want to be Virat Kohli?’. Kids are beautiful,” he said.

The Aussie opener racked up an unbeaten 128 in the first ODI of the three-match series at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
