DJ Jax Jones roped in to perform at The Hundred final
The Hundred is all set to begin on July 21.
Even before a ball being bowled, if the one event that has managed to grip the cricketing lovers across the globe then it has to be The Hundred- 100 balls game. This proposed tournament was being planned by the England Cricket Board (ECB) for close to three to four years. It was almost set to get the ball rolling in the last year before COVID-19 put all those plans to rest.
Now, when the situation is just about to get back to normal, the ECB has decided to finally get the league started with eight teams each for both men and women. The Hundred is all set to begin on July 21 with the sole aim of bringing in more crowds and infusing high-energy entertainment with some fast-paced sporting action.
Apart from the cricketing action, it has also managed to rope in Jax Jones, the Ivor Novello, Brit, and Grammy-nominated DJ to perform at The Hundred final at Lord’s on August 21. The popular DJ’s news of performing in the grand final comes along with him also churning out a new soundtrack ‘Feels’, which also happens to be the official song of the 100 balls event.
Jones is naturally excited for showcasing his singing prowess during the high-octane tournament. “I’m excited for the song to soundtrack new memories this summer for everyone who’s been waiting for freedom and celebration for so long. Collaborating with The Hundred is perfect for this, bringing people together through sport and music is always a vibe!” Jones said, as reported by Sky Sports.
