The 26-year old hailing from Sydney revived his career from a trail of injuries to propel himself amongst the best fast bowlers of this generation. At the age of 18, Pat Cummins received his Baggy green and claimed the wickets of some of the top batsmen of the era.

He returned to play his next Test after six years and began his ascendancy to the top of the tree. Cummins was the best fast bowler for his side against India last summer, taking 14 wickets in four games at an average of 27.79 amid Australia conceded their first-ever Test series at home to India.

After the series against Sri Lanka in which he claimed 14 wickets in two matches, the speedster clinched the top spot in the ICC bowlers rankings to dislodge Kagiso Rabada. Pat Cummins’ aggression and bulldog spirit would undeniably push the Indian batsmen to the limits like it did the previous time. Along with Cummins hitting the stride, Australia would hope his pace colleagues give him the necessary support to overcome India this time.
