Similarly, in IPL there have been only 7 instances of 10-wicket wins with one every season expect in 2014 edition has taken place so far. In reply to DD’s 95, the RCB openers Gayle and Kohli didn’t waste time with Gayle striking the ball well from the first over. Gayle scored a 62 in just 40 balls with Kohli supporting him with a 35 as the RCB chased down the target in 10.3 overs with 10 wickets in hand to become the first IPL team to record 10 wickets victory, twice.
