Glenn Maxwell trolls Chris Lynn in his Instagram story

Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell is known as the prankster in the team. He is renowned for taking digs at his fellow teammates. His most recent victim was his national side teammate Chris Lynn. Maxwell managed to get an embarrassing picture of Lynn and posted it as his Instagram story. He trolled Lynn in a way which would potentially not embarrass Lynn to a great extent though.

In fact, Lynn might like the troll too since it speaks about his approach to the game. The Instagram story of Glenn Maxwell had a picture of Chris Lynn sleeping peacefully. Maxwell added an animation in the picture. The cloud-thought animation had a bat and a ball in display with six written around it. Maxwell trolled Lynn by hinting that the latter was perhaps still thinking about the big sixes in his dreams.

Both Glenn Maxwell and Chris Lynn share a similar style of play. They are prominent clean hitters of the cricket ball. In the current Australian setup, both Maxwell and Lynn are regular members of the T20I team. Both members are keen on taking a leap more to enter in to the national side in the other two formats. While Lynn has been unfortunate not to have made it to the ODI side, Maxwell saw himself axed from the ODIs and Tests following a poor run of form.

Lynn was recently named in the Australian squad for the ODI series against England. But he had to bow out of the series even before the series had commenced due to an injury. It is worth noting that another such injury had ruled him out of the home series against Pakistan last year as well. On the other hand, the national selectors dropped Maxwell from the side following his average of about 20 odd in the last 22 appearances.

On the brighter side, in the first T20I of the ongoing tri-series, Chris Lynn and Glenn Maxwell added a handy partnership against New Zealand to give Australia their first win. Certainly the two gentlemen are sharing good chemistry on the pitch. And this camaraderie is pretty much visible on the social media as well.
