IND vs ENG: 2nd T20I, Match Prediction- Who will win today’s match?
The home team needs to sort their batting woes in order to draw level in the five-match series.
The opening T20I between India and England turned out to be a completely one-sided affair. At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Eoin Morgan and Co won by eight wickets with as many as 27 balls to spare. The hosts lost wickets upfront after which they crawled to 124 in their 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer notched a 48-ball 67, but his efforts went in vain as the Three Lions cantered home.
The visitors, on the other hand, turned up with a clinical show, both with bat and ball, after the 1-3 drubbing in the Test series. The second game of the series is set to be played on Sunday, March 14 and Virat Kohli’s men would be looking for a strong comeback. Their batting was found wanting and their bowlers also came under fire, especially Yuzvendra Chahal, who gave 44 runs in four overs.
Pitch and Conditions
The pitch in Ahmedabad turned out to be fairly decent for batting as shown by Shreyas and the English batters. The track was helpful to the pacers the other night and batting second should be the way forward. The temperature will be around 31 degrees Celsius with the humidity around 30 percent.

Probable Top Performers of IND vs ENG
Virat Kohli– India
Not often does Virat Kohli get out for a duck. But on Friday night, Adil Rashid didn’t let him open his account. The batsman tried to break the shackles but holed out to the fielder inside the circle. But keeping in mind his level of consistency, one can expect the Delhi-born to make a strong comeback.
Jason Roy– England
Jason Roy would have been disappointed after not being able to get a half-century in the first game. He was seeing the ball like a football when he was batting on 49 runs off 32 balls, but he got out to Washington Sundar. He would be raring to carry on with his good form and get a big score under his belt.
