India v New Zealand, 2nd Test – Statistical Highlights
The Indian team was all over New Zealand once again in the 2nd Test at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Powered by some good batting performances and spirited bowling they were able to bowl out the Kiwis on the 4th day with 178 runs in hand.
In the last inning three of the four Indian bowlers Mohammad Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja picked three wickets each while Bhuvneshwar Kumar who scalped a five-wicket haul in the first innings got the one wicket of Jeetan Patel.
With this win Virat Kohli & Co. have also regained the No. 1 rank in the Test rankings from Pakistan and will stay at the top if they remain unbeaten in the series.
