Indian cricketers decide on who they will dress up for Halloween
With Halloween right around the corner, the Indian cricketers took turns in the discussion who they would be dressing up as. With Halloween in India picking up in the last few years, it seemed quite clear that the Indian cricketers will be wanting to get their hands dirty and make Halloween a culture. This also makes the festive mood extend a day following the 3-day vacation for Diwali.
The costume party conversation began with Virat Kohli when he made a quick statement regarding Pakistan. In spite of being the best batsman in the world, Kohli said that he would dress up in his custom-made World Cup jersey to scare the Pakistanis away. Especially after the World T20 and the subsequent Asia Cup, it was clear that this was a pretty good gamble.
Next up was Sabbir Rahman. In spite of having made his debut in the recently-concluded match, Rahman thought that his words would intimidate the Brits. However, after the conclusion of the Test series, it was clear that the Brits feared just one of Sabbir’s teammates. Thus, in an intimidatory tactic, Sabbir decided to borrow a few clothes from Mehedi Hasan, his teammate.
Hardik Pandya is a man who takes a long time to forget stuff. Although there isn’t much to back this up, the fact of the matter saw him lash out at Mushfiqur Rahim who began to celebrate India’s win before Pandya’s final three deliveries. Pandya also celebrated it in advance and was perhaps the first to put on his costume.

While Kamran Akmal took MS Dhoni’s costume, it was Virender Sehwag whose costume took the cake. ‘Keep your enemies closer’ they said. And it seemed as though the former Indian opener decided to take his costume on his Twitter adversary. Piers Morgan would be perhaps one of the most shocked individuals to say the least.
