The 2012-13 cycle was repeated in 2014-15 as the KKR’s second title was followed up by the MI’s second title. Rohit Sharma led his team to yet another win over CSK in Kolkata, this time by 41 runs, to catch up with Dhoni and Gambhir (two titles). KKR’s West Indian all-rounder Andre Russell was picked as the player of the series.

Highest scorer: SRH’s David Warner topped the table to win the orange cap with 562 runs in 14 innings at an average of 43.23.

Highest wicket-taker: CSK’s Dwayne Bravo won the purple cap by taking 26 wickets, the most, in 16 innings with the best bowling figures of 3 for 22.

Most number of sixes: RCB’s Gayle was back at the helm by belting 38 sixes in 14 innings in this edition.

Highest individual score: RCB’s AB de Villiers hit an unbeaten 133 against MI and it was recorded as the highest individual score.

Best bowling figure: CSK’s Ashish Nehra took for 4 for 10 against RCB and it was the best bowling figure in the edition, piping teammate Ravindra Jadeja’s 4 for 11.

Best bowling average: SRH’s Moises Henriques finished with an average of 14.36 in 9 matches and it was the best average that year.

Highest team score: RCB scored 235 for 1 in 20 overs against MI in Mumbai.

Lowest team score: KXIP 88 all out against RCB in Bengaluru.

Biggest victory (by runs): RCB beat KXIP by 138 runs in Bengaluru.

Smallest victory (by runs): CSK beat DD by 1 run in Chennai.

Player of the series: KKR’s Andre Russell was the player of the series with 326 runs and 13 wickets.
