IPL is perhaps the best platform for a spinner to showcase his talent. The reasons being the pitches and the conditions which are far more suitable and conducive to spin bowling than any part of the world. As expected, the tweakers did not disappoint at all and performed well on most occasions. In fact, some were the top performers for their respective franchises and gave some of the most performances of this season.

1.Adam Zampa – RPS:

Adam Zampa can be easily rated as the best spinner of the tournament. The upcoming leg spinner from Australia looked very lethal with his flat leg breaks and sharp cricketing brains. Zampa got his opportunity to make his IPL debut late in the tournament. He was initially overlooked by MS Dhoni but was later provided with the opportunity after first preference Murugan Ashwin began to fade away. Zampa then proved his worth by snapping 12 wickets in just 5 games at a superb average of 9.58. His 6/12 against eventual champions Sunrisers Hyderabad was the best individual bowling performance by a bowler in this tournament.
